Pura Vida Project began as a yearly event with the desire to bless children in an orphanage for Christmas. We began to partner with an orphanage in Costa Rica. Pablo, one of our founders, is a native Costan Rican, so this was near to his heart. After meeting these amazing children and their staff, we realized that we can do so much more than just a one time event at Christmas. We discovered that one of the greatest needs is the gift of language. By providing these children with the opportunity to learn a second language, we open up a world of possibilities and a bright future that may not exist without it. Now, in addition to yearly Christmas parties and gifts, we are able to provide: monthly birthday parties, weekly English classes, essential school supplies, qualified teachers, mentorship programs, and more!
